Empowering Women: How Dan's Martial Arts Center Partnered with Woonsocket Police for Free Self-Defense Training

In collaboration with The Woonsocket Police Department Dan's Martial Arts Center stepped up to equip women with essential self-defense skills through an exciting five-week course. Participants learned crucial techniques but also gained invaluable confidence to positively impact every aspect of their lives.

The world can be unpredictable, and feeling vulnerable in certain situations is a reality many women face.


Yet, through this hands-on self-defense training led by the experienced Sensei Dan Guernon, students discovered how to turn everyday objects into tools of empowerment. Imagine transforming a simple keychain into a powerful defense mechanism while learning to become more aware of your surroundings and how to evade potential threats.
